Dr. Romesh Wadhwani

Founder, chairman, SymphonyAI

Dr. Romesh Wadhwani is a proven, successful serial entrepreneur and CEO. He built Symphony Technology Group from startup to $2.5B revenue, $10B EV. Prior to STG, he built Aspect Development, which he sold for $9 billion. Dr. Wadhwani has committed $1 billion of his own capital to build SymphonyAI.

Mark Tice

Operating partner

Mark Tice is a seasoned executive with over 25 years of experience working in the commercial and federal software fields. Previously, in his role as vice president of global sales and customer success at Unison, he was focused on driving top-line growth and increasing customer satisfaction. Mark joined Unison (formerly Compusearch Software Systems) in 2015. Working with Unison’s management team, he drove growth through winning new clients and expanded the use of Unison’s products by existing customers. Mark was instrumental in successfully integrating acquired companies and driving sales across product lines.

Prior to joining Unison, Mark held executive positions for market leaders including Oracle, Sybase, and Business Objects as well as a number of startups. As CEO of two venture-backed startups, Mark led successful exits to NYSE-listed companies including Oracle. While he has spent most of his career in sales and general management roles, Mark began his career as a developer and has broad marketing experience.

Eshwar Belani

Partner

Eshwar is currently a Partner at SymphonyAI and is focused on investing and creating companies that leverage artificial intelligence to disrupt B2B markets. In addition, Eshwar helpsportfolio companies in their business transformation efforts to significantly enhance customer and shareholder value.  Prior to SymphonyAI, Eshwar led Products & Alliances for Rubrik. At Rubrik, Eshwar helped launch an innovative suite of products that enabled the company to double revenue & customers on a quarterly basis and approach an annual run rate of $100 Million after only six quarters of selling. Rubrik is the fastest growing enterprise infrastructure company in the world and was featured as a top company in Forbes’ 2018 The Cloud 100 list.

Prior to Rubrik, Eshwar was the Vice President of Strategy at Rocket Fuel (NASDAQ:FUEL) and was responsible for shaping the strategic direction of the company as well as driving ancillary revenue through new business initiatives. He successfully helped close Rocket Fuel’s $230M acquisition of [x+1] to expand Rocket Fuel’s portfolio of solutions for the enterprise market. Prior to this role, Eshwar was Vice President of Products and Business Development at Rocket Fuel and was responsible for building Rocket Fuel’s brand and direct response products and taking them to market as well as establishing relationships with data and measurement partners. As part of the founding executive team, he helped Rocket Fuel grow from the ground up to over $240 million in revenue from over 75 of AdAge’s top 100 national advertisers within five years to claim the #1 spot in Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500™ list.

Prior to Rocket Fuel, Eshwar was the founder and CEO of Sensact Applications, a Silicon Valley based company focused on pervasive real-time embedded sensing and computing (aka “Internet of Things”) to create solutions for smart physical environments. At Sensact Applications, Eshwar formulated the business plan, raised financing, recruited a cross-border team, and delivered the first set of innovative wireless applications which are used on a daily basis in commercial building facilities.

Prior to founding Sensact Applications, Eshwar was part of Epiphany’s (now Infor) Product Management team and worked on product strategy for Epiphany’s Marketing and Analytics products. He was responsible for Epiphany’s flagship CRM marketing and analytics platforms that had over $100 million in annual revenue and were used by over 35 Fortune 100 companies.

Prior to joining Epiphany, Eshwar was the co-founder and CTO of iLeverage (acquired by Epiphany [NASDAQ:EPNY] in 2000), a company that built advertising and collaborative selling solutions for online retailers. At iLeverage, Eshwar led a team of engineers to deliver a revolutionary vertical ad network focused on the e-commerce exit corridorto facilitate promotional cross-deals across merchants. Prior to iLeverage, Eshwar worked as a software development engineer in the Application Server Group at Oracle.

Eshwar serves as an Advisor to companies associated with Singularity University and Alchemist Accelerator, and is a Charter Member of TiE Silicon Valley. He holds a MS in Computer Science from U.C. Berkeley, Management of Technology from U.C. Berkeley, and a B.Tech in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras. He has authored several academic publications and holds six patents.

Satyen Vyas

President and CEO, Symphony SummitAI

Satyen Vyas has been the Chief Executive Officer at Symphony SummitAI since 2013. Currently based in New York, he has led the company’s growth from a startup to a global entity with customers and partners in North America, India and Southeast Asia. Prior to SummitAI, he was a Vice President at IBM in India and South Asia, where he was instrumental in growing the company’s x-Series servers to a market leadership position. He also served as General Manager for mid markets at Dell India, and spent 12 years building Vitage Group into a leading IT systems integration and services player in the Indian market.

Satyen holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Nagpur University and a post-graduate degree in management from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore.

Vijaya Shanker

CTO

Vijaya Shanker is the CTO of Symphony SummitAI, he is a part of Symphony Technology Group since 2006 and has been the main architect of the SummitAI platform from day one.

Shanker brings more than 30 years of IT industry experience to Symphony SummitAI. Most recently, he was the CIO at Symphony Teleca, where he headed the Infrastructure, enterprise applications & production engineering teams.

Prior to Symphony Services, Shanker served as a practice head at Hewlett-Packard Global Soft, where he was responsible for managing the complete IT infrastructure, Production engineering and remote IT management for HP’s global managed services customers.

Before joining HP, Shanker was Associate Vice President of network services and operations at Global Tele systems.

Shanker holds a Bachelor’s degree (BE) in electronics and communications from Bangalore Institute of Technology.

Vasudev Nayak

Vice president, engineering

Vasudev Nayak is the Vice President of Product Development at Symphony SummitAI. Vasudev brings more than 22 years of IT industry experience to Symphony SummitAI. Most recently, he was the Director for Product Development at Symphony Services, where he led the enterprise applications teams. Prior to Symphony Services, Vasudev served as a Lead at Hewlett-Packard GlobalSoft, where he was responsible for the automation of IT and Managed Services Delivery. Before joining HP, Vasudev was the Manager of Enterprise Application team at Global TeleSystems.

Ravi Krishnamurthy

Senior vice president, operations

Ravi Krishnamurthy is a leader with over 25 years of experience in customer service engagements, operations management, strategy development, project management and management consulting.

As Senior VP of operations, he drives the systems and processes for the team to deliver on the customer commitments.

Ravi has extensive global experience having worked in in India, USA & Singapore and managing teams of up to 200 people. He has driven cross-functional projects and end-to-end process improvements across marketing, pre-sales, sales, fulfilment and customer care to optimize costs and deliver great customer experience. Ravi has held senior positions at IBM, Lenovo, Dell.

According to Ravi, “A combination of passionate and experienced team with a process driven approach towards operations will always deliver a great experience”

Ravi is a Physics graduate with and MBA from University of North Carolina.

Vaibhav Goyal

Chief financial officer

As Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Symphony SummitAI, Vaibhav Goyal is responsible for leading the company’s global finance.

Vaibhav is an experienced leader with significant technology industry expertise in the areas of business finance, financial planning and analysis, pricing, treasury, and M&A. Prior to joining Symphony SummitAI, Vaibhav was Vice President at Emids Technologies and Head of Finance at Wipro Limited and Executive Manager Finance at Dubai First PJSC.

Vaibhav currently serves as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and has an MBA from XLRI.

Tim Lawes

Senior Director, Americas

Tim Lawes is the Senior director for Symphony SummitAI. With over a decade of sales, training, and implementation experience, he provides technical leadership to the North America SummitAI team. Tim has experience in the Commercial, Military, Federal, State and Local Government space, with a deep passion in helping customers maximize the value of their ITSM purchase.

Tim was a key member of the Samanage team, helping drive revenue that led to a $350M acquisition of Samanage by SolarWinds in 2019. After the acquisition, Tim spent two years managing a large team of solutions consultants across a breadth of products and offerings at SolarWinds.

Sarah K. M. Gross

Director of marketing

Sarah Gross is the Director of Marketing for Symphony SummitAI. Sarah brings over 12 years of marketing experience across multiple areas of focus such as the healthcare, pharmaceutical, nonprofit, tourism, and SaaS industries to SummitAI.

Prior to joining SummitAI, Sarah served as Director of Marketing at IMPLAN, where she led the marketing team for the company’s cloud-based economic impact analysis products and services.

Sarah is known for bringing a creative, analytical, and collaborative approach to marketing and team leadership. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Union College in Visual Arts and Classics.

Nate Riley

Enterprise account executive

Nate Riley is an Enterprise Account Executive for Symphony SummitAI. Nate brings over 10 years experience in the technology industry, specifically IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Asset Management.

Prior to joining SummitAI Nate worked for Samanage, an ITIL-ready service desk, where he served in many key roles such as Strategic Account Executive and Director, Sales – North America. Samanage was acquired by SolarWinds for the purchase price of $350 million in 2019.

Before joining Samanage, Nate proudly served in the United States Marine Corps.

Nate is people-focused and determined to ensure the solution he’s providing is genuinely the right fit—he takes the time to listen, ask questions and build relationships with those he supports.

Chris Martin

Enterprise account executive

Chris Martin is an ITIL foundations certified Enterprise Account Executive for Symphony SummitAI. Chris brings over 12 years of experience in sales and over 6 years specifically in the IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Asset Management Industry.

Prior to joining SummitAI Chris worked for Samanage, an ITIL-ready service desk, where he served in many key roles such as Sr. Account Executive and Regional Vice President, Sales – West. Samanage was acquired by SolarWinds for the purchase price of $350 million in 2019.

After the acquisition of SolarWinds, Chris led part of the U.S. sales team overseeing the New Logo, Account Management, Customer Success, Channel, and Renewal Teams.

Chris enjoys solving problems and working closely with clients to overcome their current challenges. He takes the time to connect and listen to clients’ key outcomes while charting a path for the best way forward to make sure there is a mutual fit. Chris always strives to exceed customer expectations.

Jason Yeary

Senior solutions consultant

Jason Yeary is a Senior Solutions Consultant for Symphony SummitAI. He has over 15 years of experience in the ITSM space in pre and post sales, implementation and real-world experience managing a service desk in the healthcare space. Jason has experience in the Healthcare, State and Local Government, and Education spaces with a passion for improving IT processes with a focus on ITIL.

Jason was a member of the Samanage team and helped drive the $350M acquisition of Samanage by SolarWinds in 2019.

Aditya Rathor

Associate director

Aditya is an Associate Director at Symphony SummitAI and has 15 years of experience. He is responsible for engaging with managed service providers (MSPs) in America’s region and ensuring the success of SummitAI through partners.

Aditya has a successful track record in Pre-Sales and Technical Solutioning for enterprise customers. He is recognized for consistently meeting customer expectations, designing solutions for complex customer environments, consulting on ITIL based processes, and delivering on client commitments.

Scott Busch

Senior customer success manager

Scott Busch is the Senior Customer Success Manager at Symphony SummitAI. With over two decades of experience managing accounts and over 6 years in the Tech/BI Service Desk space, he bridges the gap between sales and support for the North America SummitAI team.

Scott built trust with customers in San Francisco working for a BI Tool before moving to Raleigh, NC to work with Samanage Service Desk and SolarWinds after its acquisition of Samanage. Scott brings those years of experience to SummitAI where he works to build customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Scott holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Communications from Texas State University.

Adam Smith

Senior demand generation manager

Adam Smith is the Senior Demand Generation Manager for Symphony SummitAI. Adam brings over 8 years of experience over the course of his career in marketing and sales enablement in addition to 2 years of service in IT for the University of Alabama Enrollment Management department.

Prior to joining SummitAI, Adam was responsible for digital strategy and marketing operations at IMPLAN, which provides cloud-based economic impact analysis products and services.

Prior to IMPLAN, Adam led the event marketing team for Randall-Reilly, a firm that provides marketing and recruiting services for the construction and trucking industries.

Adam is known for his analytical thinking and adaptive problem-solving attitude. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Alabama.
Tom Boylan

Senior customer success manager

Tom Boylan is a Senior Customer Success Manager for Symphony SummitAI. With over 8 years of experience managing accounts in the SaaS space, 5 years of which were spent specifically in the ITSM space, Tom provides a special partnership for those he has the opportunity to serve. Tom’s experience in working alongside enterprise customers in the healthcare, manufacturing, state and local government, legal, and education spaces enables him to support those customers in maximizing their investment and reaching full adoption of the solution.

Prior to Summit, Tom honed his skills in account management and customer success working for Citrix Systems. Tom worked on the Samanage team supporting their top customers during the $350M acquisition by SolarWinds, ensuring those customers saw a seamless transition. Tom is a customer advocate who is laser focused on delivering solutions-based support that empowers his clients to leverage their partnership to the fullest extent.
