Reporting to the Sales Director, the Strategic Accounts Manager – Designated accounts is expected to deliver the business objectives from the list of top accounts in the region. In this capacity the SAM is expected to work closely with the Sales Director to craft clear sales and GTM strategy and execute the same.
Prospect qualification, development and execution of new sales opportunities and ongoing revenue streams
Tailoring SUMMIT value proposition to prospects based on in-depth analysis of customer’s infrastructure and need drivers
Pipeline management, sales process management including effective forecasting and closure.
Leading the complete sales process starting with initial presentation/demonstration till the closure of the opportunity – all the time focused on customer success through SUMMIT’s value proposition.
Being the trusted advisor to the customer by understanding their existing and future IT roadmap to drive the SUMMIT solution.
Leverage internal resources and external networks to build a strong sustained revenue stream and high level of customer engagement and satisfaction.
Build and maintain executive level engagement at the CXO levels with clients and prospect.
Leverage on Partner ecosystem including leading SI, MSP, Reseller and consulting partners.
Deliver on annual, quarterly sales targets
Be the “voice of the customer” to the Product Development Team.
17+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure services or SaaS based software business, selling key values and differentiators with proven success and experience in new business development and demonstrated revenue growth consistently in his/her tenure.
Ability to Call High and Spread wide within the Customer Organization.
