What is WCAG? ​The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG – often pronounced “wuh-cag”) were developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and are widely accepted as the go-to standard for digital accessibility conformance. They serve as the basis of most accessibility regulations worldwide and are applicable across all current and future digital technologies.
​Is SymphonyAI WCAG Compliant? Yes, SymphonyAI Product is WCAG 2.0 (Level AA) Compliant but has not undergone the Certification process. To elaborate further, SymphonyAI worked with the third-party vendor to perform the assessment of the SymphonyAI Platform against the WCAG 2.0 (Level AA)  and all the proposed changes are adopted as per the recommendations. ​
​Do we carry any certificate of WCAG compliance? ​No.
What is the roadmap for this? Currently, SymphonyAI is working on the New Platform Project which is being designed to meet the WCAG 2.0 Level AAA compliance and also has a plan to undergo the certification process.​
Are we compliant with W3C? W3C stands for World Wide Web Consortium. It is an international community where Member organizations, a full-time staff, and the public work together to develop Web standards.  WCAG is developed through the W3C process in cooperation with individuals and organizations around the world and with the goal of providing a Single Shared Standard for web content accessibility that meets the needs of individuals, organizations, and governments internationally.​
​What is VPAT? VPAT stands for Voluntary Product Accessibility Template, it is a document that allows an organization to provide a comprehensive analysis of conformance to accessibility standards set by Section 508 of the Rehabilition Act.​
​Is VPAT necessary for products? VPATs are used by Product buyers (customers) to determine how accessible a product is and where are the potential deficiencies are. Usually it is asked at the time of the purchase cycle of a Product.
Does VPAT 2.1 include WCAG 2.1? No. Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) 2.0 includes information from WCAG 2.00. VPAT 2.1 does not include information from WCAG 2.1 (VPAT is not developed by W3C)​.

​What are the level of conformances available with WCAG? ​WCAG  has three levels of conformance: A, AA, and AAA. Level A refers to the lowest level of conformance (minimum) and Level AAA is the highest (maximum). Most organizations set their standards at level AA because it is both achievable and meaningful, without being too disruptive to the design and development process.
